  1. I have followed the Athlean-X system for almost 2 years now and I have had great results from the start. I have achieved a new level of lean and have maintained it for the past 2 years. The nutrition plan he has works okay, and it gets you in the flow of healthy eating but it might not work for everyone to achieve single digits of body fat percent. I had to tweak and sort of create my own nutrition plan based off of what I started with on Athlean-X. I now sit around 7% body fat, and I was around the typical 12% range before I started. I got down to the 9-10% area with what Jeff offers but for me to get down into the 7% I had to form my own plan like I said already. The work out programs are great though, I have gone through AX-1, 2, Zero, Ultimate Arms, and now im on month 5 of NXT. I did AX-1 and 2 a couple times. I preferred AX-2 because it was more focused on building muscle where as AX-1 was more of getting the leaner athletic body. Ultimate Arms has to be one of my top favorites, and its not only an arm program, but its main focus is the arms. The Leg workouts were great in Ultimate Arms. NXT has been a mix of months I don;t like as much and months that i really do like alot. The Anabolix, Half Life, and Breaking Point months have been some of my favorites so far. I feel like the months I enjoy more probably cater to my body type more, where I enjoy the more explosive, low reps, and higher weight compared to the higher reps and long endurance types. The constantly different styles though always keeps me from getting used to anyone thing. Overall I highly recommend Athlean-X, I think its one of the best programs out there, but you do have to take some things into your own mold and take what he teaches you and then create what works best for you. Not every single thing Jeff recommends will work for everybody, but you can make it work for you.

  2. I really like Jeff’s free YT videos. Maybe not everything works for men, but as a woman I’ve added a lot of his exercises to my boring 1 year-old training in a gym. Usually I want to avoid as many injuries as possible (I had quite a serious accident in the past and my body is so sensitive that I feel when sth is wrong after just a moment of bad training).
    So far my body reacts to the exercises very well, including the weightlifting.
    Moreover, after the accident I visited many physios and Jeff’s advices on how to prevent injuries are really good, as you mentioned.
    His YT channel is a great source of information (I finally got rid of joint cracks, the rehab and 1 year of my training didn’t help!). However, sometimes I just want to check the exercises so it’s necessary to skip the talking parts.
    It’s enough for me to build some muscles, maybe because the exercises are quite tough for me as a person with weak body, but I’m really happy I found the channel. It helped me to create different sets of workouts, I don’t have to change them quickly so the muscle confusion isn’t really a problem.
